Developing Choral Sound Through the Warm-up
Includes over 100 exercises for choral groups of all ages focusing on building choral sound through the warm-up. For over 25 years conductor Joseph Caulkins has used these tried and true exercises, refining them into a system focused on teaching good vocal production, ensemble techniques, listening, and choral artistry.
The purpose of the warm-up time is not only to warm-up the voice, but also to warm-up the mind for a focused rehearsal or performance, and to build the techniques and skills necessary for the choral group to continually nurture their sound. This new resource helps provide the tools to do this and keep the warm-up time fresh and rewarding.
