Choral Singing: A New Approach for Speech & Voice Disorders in Parkinson’s Disease

Off-Key

This choral group comprised of Parkinson’s patients, family members and any other interested persons will meet for eight weeks, beginning on January 14 from 1:15 to 2:15 at the Institute for Advanced Medicine in the exercise room of the Sarasota Memorial HealthFit.  Led by Artistic Director, Joseph Caulkins, the Off Key Chorale will not only provide the opportunity for Parkinson’s patients to use their voices but will be a fellowship activity for people whose social opportunities are often limited by their disease.

Neuro Challenge Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of people with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers through service, education and research.  The “Off-Key” Chorale is a cooperative program with Key Chorale, Artist Series Concerts, Neuro Challenge Foundation and Sarasota Memorial’s HealthFit
