The final year of Mozart’s life was troubled by career disappointments, growing debt, and failing health, but also filled with a period of incredibly diverse compositions including two operas, a clarinet concerto, a dedicatory cantata for a new Masonic lodge, and his unfinished Requiem.
Key Chorale welcomes guest soloist, Bharat Chandra, to perform Mozart’s beloved Clarinet Concerto, the men of the Chorale will be featured in Mozart’s final composition The Little Masonic Cantata, and the full Chorale will present his unfinished Requiem. Key Chorale alumni are invited to attend this special concert and to join together with current Chorale members in singing the beloved Ave Verum Corpus as we celebrate 30 years of bringing great choral music to our community.
